Our counselors are current or former business managers and executives who have the expertise to help you start or grow your own small business. The best part is that SCORE counseling services are FREE.

The Lake Sumter Chapter is comprised of experienced business men and women. We provide clients with free and confidential business counseling. Counseling can be conducted at the client's place of business or at any of our four Counseling Locations by appointment. We also counsel by telephone or via email.
SCORE mentors and representatives from Lake and Sumter counties conduct a variety of regularly scheduled, low-cost educational workshops that provide valuable information and techniques necessary for establishing and managing a successful business.
Our Winter Workshop Series begins January 26, 2012 and contains 10 informative Workshops.
With access to a wide variety of documents, templates and tools to assist you in starting or growing your business, the information provided here covers a wide range of subjects including initial business planning, capital sources, government agencies, and much more.
